- This site is hosted by the Mary Mother of God Mission Society. We are a stateside mission office representing two American priests who have been laboring in the Far East of Russia since 1992. These priests staff a handful of Latin rite parishes in Vladivostok, near the Sea of Japan. They started several outlying parishes in Lesosovosk, Romamofka and Nakhudka. The Parish in Lesosovosk has started this cottage industry to help support themselves, and their CARITAS womens crisis center. 20% of their earnings are given to the Center. This is a cottage industry of our elderly parishioners in the Russian town of Lesozavodsk (in Southeastern Russia). The cost of the yarn has been donated by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Los Fresnos, Texas. Proceeds go in part to assist the womens' crisis pregnancy center at the parish. All other proceeds go to the parish. Thank you for your support.
